After a sleep study showed severe sleep apnea, I was told to go straight to a CPAP, but I wanted to explore other options first. Dr. Kalliath's office walked me through oral appliance therapy, including the process, costs, and insurance, with total clarity. One month in, it's been life changing. My wife isn't woken by my snoring, I wake up rested, and my Oura ring confirms much better sleep. A collapsing tongue was my main issue and this fixed it. So glad I didn't default to a CPAP. Highly recommend.

I was treated for TMJ by Dr. Kalliath after a standard night guard did not help my jaw pain and tinnitus. Dr. Kalliath provided a thorough exam to accurately diagnose my issues then took scans and impressions that were used to make a custom appliance. Dr.Kalliath is extremely knowledgeable and precise, and she provides close follow up. All appointments are included in the cost of the appliance. Together with PT, my jaw pain is now minimal and my tinnitus continues to improve. The office staff is also great.

I was referred to Dr. Kalliath after a lifetime of jaw clenching/teeth grinding and a year of worsening sinus issues, Eustachian tube dysfunction impairing my hearing, and seeing 5 doctors from 4 different specialties with no improvement. I felt helpless, lost, and confused about why so much felt wrong but no one had answers. I made an appointment for a dental cleaning at her practice but put in the comments that I was referred for TMJ dysfunction. Her office called me shortly after and redirected my appointment to be an evaluation directly with her. The first appointment involved extensive discussion and education, a thorough workup with pricing and reasoning transparently discussed up front, validation of my chronic pain and a tangible demonstration of its effects on my daily functioning in comparison to others at β€œnormal” functioning, recommendations for other necessary workup, directions to support my advocating for my needs with other providers, and a short- and long-term plan that gave me realistic hope. I walked out with a productive partner I could trust in not just preventing further deterioration, but optimizing my health and wellbeing. I’ve been working with her team for

I came to Dr. Kalliath to talk about getting a mouthguard to help with my sleep. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine when I am home. I was hoping to use the mouthguard when i travel. When I got the device I was skeptical as it was much bulkier than the one I had before. After talking to Dr. K and trying her suggestion to wear the mouthguard while using the CPAP, I found that my sleep was significantly improved.....and my wife is happier because I make less noise. I have now used both devices together almost every night when I am home. It is going very well.

After being diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea last spring (2025) and using the cpap machine, I was in search of an alternative treatment plan as it was very intolerable for me. As I researched other options, I came across a limited listing of physicians in Chicago that treated the disorder using the oral appliance. When I saw the reviews for Dr. Kalliath, which were impressive, I made the call to schedule a consultation. From the start of my treatment plan to current, I can certainly attest to having received very professional, thorough and quality care with excellent customer service from Dr. Kalliath and her team. As a result of the excellent care, my sleep apnea score (AHI) significantly improved from a moderate "16" to a normal "1" using the oral appliance! It was truly a blessing to receive these results and I thank God for Dr. Kalliath and her team. I would highly recommend her!
